Types of validation

• Domain validated certs:

The SSL certificates for domains ensures that the field has been authenticated by a recognized provider of certificates. Site visitors can click the seal to verify that the certificate is still valid, giving visitors an added peace of mind.

• Organisation  valided certs:

This validation of corporate identity is important, an SSL certificate for the organization assures customers that the site is reliable and secure.

• Extended Validation (EV) :

Displaying the seal of green certificates in the address bar, provides customers an additional level of confidence. The green bar is a visual indication of strong and clear to the user that the site has an Extended Validation Certificate. The status bar displays the security organization's name and the name of the certification authority (CA).

 Wildcard option

• Wildcard :

• This wildcard SSL certificate enables SSL encryption on multiple sub-domains using a single certificate as long as it is controlled by the same organization and share the same domain of second level.
  
  For example, a Wildcard certificate issued to "yourcompany" using the common name (e.g. "*. yourcompany.com") will be used to secure the sub-domains as the same company (e.g. login.yourcompany.com.com , and payment.yourcompany.com.com support.yourcompany.com).
